The Gallatin River Ranch is 21 miles from Bozeman, the home of Montana State University (see links). It is 12 miles from Gallatin Field Airport and 90 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Big Sky Ski & Summer Resort and Moonlight Basin Resort are 53 miles away. Bridger Bowl Ski Area is only 35 miles. Within a two hour radius are the historic towns of Virginia City and Nevada City, the Lewis & Clark Caverns, Canyon Ferry Lake with a 76-mile shoreline, Montana's state capital of Helena and numerous other attractions and recreational areas.
