Springtime in the Rockies
|
Montana
State Flower - The Bitterroot. |
Springtime at Gallatin
River Ranch brings with it lots of changes -- the greening of the
meadows, wildflowers, trees budding out, birds returning from their
southern havens, our resident Great Horned Owls hatching out their
young, and new babies -- fawns and foals. One of our favorites is
the return of our Montana State Flower, the Bitterroot.
Each spring these delicate flowers spring out
of the rock wall facing our bridge. It brings a smile to our
face as we drive across the bridge, coming home to the Ranch,
seeing these beautiful flowers welcoming us as they return once
again, blessing us with their fragile beauty if only for a few
weeks.

News from the GRR Sales Office |
 |
As
some of you may be aware, Michael Libster, who has been with Gallatin
River Ranch since January of 1998, will be opening a new office
in mid-June to pursue his development interests in downtown Belgrade.
Mike is changing his focus from residential sales, toward commercial
real estate and development. As he remains licensed with Gallatin
River Realty, this change (although geographic) will still allow
him to continue his desired involvement with the Ranch.
We do have a new face in the office. Dick Rothing has joined the
Sales Staff here at GRR. Dick has worked with Tom Langel at Amerimont
Real Estate for several years, and has 16 years experience in real
estate sales. He is a licensed Broker, and has earned the GRI certification
(Graduate Realtor Institute). Dick is the father of two teen-age
sons, and is very active in coaching their baseball and basketball
teams, as well as enjoying outdoor activities with them. Stop by
the office to welcome Dick!

The event will begin at 11:00 AM. Spectators are free and volunteers
are always welcome for this event.

Interested in Being on our Board of Directors? |
 |
Up until now, our
Board of Directors at GRR has been appointed by the developers. It
has been decided to elect a completely new Board. (Existing Board
members may apply.) As per our new By-Laws approved this year, the
new Board will be made up of nine property owners, eight of whom will
be elected, and one seat will be filled by Kenneth Vidar, representing
the developers. The By-Laws state the majority of the Board must be
residents of the Ranch, so five of the members must be residents and
up to four may be property owners who have not yet built their homes
here at the Ranch.
If you are interested in serving, please notify the GRR office no
later than June 15, 2005. Your bio will then be circulated to all
property owners and the election will be held at our annual meeting
August 13, 2005. Proxies will be available for anyone not able to
attend the annual meeting. ( Please see this entire notice on the
HO Website for more details – www.grrhoa.com
